The choir travelled to Shrewsbury on the 1st of March, 2025 to take part in a concert celebrating St David's day.

The concert was arranged by the North Wales Association of Male Voice Choirs and as well as Hogia'r Ddwylan included the Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir, renowned pianist and accompanist Teleri-Sian and the very talented young soprano Branwen Medi Jones. The evening was compered by the ever reliable and well known presenter Dilwyn Price.

Iwan Wyn Williams was our conductor for the evening and as our usual accompanist Elis was unavailable due to his university commitments our accompanist was MeurigThomas, an able and experienced pianist.

There was a very big audience on the night who warmly applauded throughout the concert and a lot of money was raised in support of the Shrewsbury Samaritans, a very important and deserving charity.
