On Friday the 30th and Saturday the 31st of October Hogia'r Ddwylan will be taking part in Bangor Cathedral's1500th Anniversary celebrations which will feature a brand new musical production titled "Dinas Noddfa/City of Refuge" led by the famous local and world renowned Welsh choir Côr Glanaethwy.
The monumental birthday milestone marks 1,500 years since Saint Deiniol founded his original monastryon the site in 525 AD, making Bangor the oldest city in recorded Welsh history.
The Production: "Dinas Noddfa/City of Refuge" is a specially commisioned musical production written and put together by Cefin Roberts, the Artistic Director of the Bangor based performing arts school Ysgol Glanaethwy.
The production will be performed by Côr Glanaethwy together with Hogia'r Ddwylan Male Voice Choir and also Côr Cofnod Ladies Choir from Caernarfon.

Singing to the HPB guests at Henllys Hall in Beaumaris on Thursday night the 12th of November, 2026.
Concert starting at 7-30pm
Hogia'r Ddwylan will be visiting the Nefyn Constitutional Club ( Clwb Bach ) in Nefyn on Friday night, the 4th of December.
The choir will be leading a singalong concert which will include some songs from our repertoire together with some traditional and well know ones
