We had a lovely concert at Llangoed Village Hall to help raise money for the upkeep of this beautiful building. The Hall which is run completely by volunteers and has been a gathering point for the people of Llangoed and beyond for more than 115 years, and is so important for this small village and the south east coast of Anglesey The choir performed songs from their repertoire as well as a few timely Christmas carols and finishing off with the Welsh National Anthem. The evening was presented by Dr Endaf Ap Ieuan from the tenor section and the choir was conducted by Musical Director Iwan Wyn Williams and accompanist was Elis Massarelli Hughes. There were a few fantastic soloists on the night, Gwen Elin performed four beautiful songs, Elis the choir's accompanist played his own arrangement of a medley of Christmas songs on the keyboard, Nel entertained with her immaculate clog dancing and accompanied on the keyboard by her brother Owain. It is safe to say that the audience on the evening enjoyed all aspects of everyone's performance based on the clapping heard on the night.
