Penblwydd Pont Borth 24/04/26

On Friday April the 24th, Hogia'r Ddwylan took part in an awards ceremony for the "Pen-blwydd Pont Y Borth" competition organized by Llys a Gorsedd Eisteddfod Môn. 

The ceremony was held at St Mary's Church in Menai Bridge instead of the Thomas Telford Centre because there were more people attending than expected.  

It was a pure pleasure to sing our unique song 'Hon yw'r Gân,' which is based on the origin of the Choir in Menai Bridge in 1966 and the strong connection to Pont Y Borth, and what was better was that the song's lyrics author, Dr Llion Jones, was in the audience listening to his beautiful words for the first time.
